  • Accrued over 300 active teaching hours at this academically rigorous school for intellectually gifted students

  • Utilizing a student-centered approach, developed and implement visual art sequences incorporating both digital and traditional methods for 7th grade, 9th grade, and mixed media elective (11th & 12th) classes

  • Taught both Visual Art lessons and correlating Art History units which support independent thinking, creative decision making, and the consideration of historical themes and practices.

Student Teaching Practicum: Elementary, Abraham Joshua Heschel School                                                   Fall 2023

  • Accrued over 400 active teaching hours working in collaboration with the Visual Arts teaching team

Intern, Nassau County Museum of Art & Manes Education Center                                           Dec. 2021 – August 2022

  • Assisted in leading school group visits to the museum, including artwork analysis and related artmaking

  • Helped to run art classes and camps for children at the Manes Education Center, including the Break for Art sessions and Summer Art Lab camp

  • Handled ticket sales, administration, and visitor relations at the front desk

Co-Founder and Friendship Coordinator, Best Buddies Chapter at Fordham University          Sept. 2017 – May 2019

  • Initiated Fordham’s Chapter of Best Buddies International, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to creating one-to-one friendships, integrated employment and leadership development for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities 

  • Managed the friendship pairs between club members and their “buddies” by evaluating monthly friendship forms and resolving any interpersonal conflicts between pairs

  • Organized, developed and implemented monthly events for club members and buddies
